Project Details

Spooky Guise was the first project of my second year at Isart Digital, designed to introduce us to the Unity engine.

The primary goal was to replicate the gameplay of RUSH, a bright and colorful puzzle game. To make the project uniquely mine, I chose to invert this aesthetic by creating a dark, horror-themed Halloween atmosphere, providing a striking contrast to the original’s lively tone.

This project was an invaluable learning experience, deepening my understanding of object dependency in Unity - how objects relate and interact within the game’s hierarchy and lifecycle. I also gained my first hands-on experience with shaders and particle systems, exploring Unity’s graphical capabilities to enhance the eerie, atmospheric mood of the game.
